OAA is committed to developing partnerships among animal advocates so that we can work toward common goals: Transforming our communities into places where no dog or cat of reasonable health and temperament is euthanized merely because it does not have a home and ensure that companion animals are treated humanely.

This site allows OAA partners to collaborate, share information and ideas so that we may someday achieve those goals.

The site is specifically designed to support efforts that:
-Reduce the number of homeless pets in Oklahoma and the occurrence of euthanasia of adoptable animals
-Increase the practice of spaying and neutering pets in our state
-Increase adoptions among shelter and rescue organizations
-Increase community awareness of responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals
